Defiant

Defiant is a legion based on dedicated players, who enjoy a casual and lax gaming environment. Most of us have come from different games such as Lineage II, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, and etc.,. Our leadership comes from guilds like <Zeal> on Lethon coming at server 2nd on most of the PvE encounters, and housing a prestige amount of rank 14 PvP’ers, as well as <Legend> on Deathwing. We take the time to hear the perspectives of members, and bounce ideas off one another in order to make a clear decision.

In all our situations we believe that Defiant will be hardcore-casual. We are hardcore in the sense that when it’s game time, we buckle down, focus, and get things done. We are casual, in the sense, that we house a social environment in guild chat, and ventrilo. We do not promote elitism, but we allow a player to play, however they want without constant waves of ePeen or bashing because someone messed up on an encounter. We do have theory crafters, and idealists, but we just ask people to understand basic game mechanics.

Our recruiting status is we are openly recruiting, until launch. After launch, a member can have their friends join, and we will definitely pick up people along the way if they can click with our philosophy. We are an Asmodian PST based legion on the server Siel, and hope to focus on end game pvp, instancing, and eventually raiding. We do want to do these things all efficiently, and a nice steady pace.

We ask that you are a cool person to be around. We occassionally throw jokes, and humor, so don’t be easily offended, but reply with your own artillery of insults. Just don’t cross the line. Please be 18 and over, we do take exceptions to the mature, but if you are going to be blogging your day through vent, we don’t want you.

We want people to play classes that they want to play, and not be forced to just meet the legion’s needs. Enjoy what your paying for, after all.. it’s your money.
